I tried using Obsidian a few months back but couldn't get into a good routine with it. This post has inspired me to give it another go, there's a few plugins in there that I haven't tried before. I've always thought that something like Obsidian would be the ideal "all-in-one" knowledge work tool but have struggled with implementation. Keen to see how it goes.

It does take some time to get it setup and actually being useful, the interface is overwhelming at first which can be off-putting, but stick with it and pick things off one-at-a-time such as Kanban, or The Canvas and you will get there.

I've actually gotten into a pretty good groove with it now. The biggest win for me was using the Spaced Repetition plugin to process notes. This way, I can import notes that are automatically tagged for review. Then, on a daily basis, I read through the notes and extract useful information using the Notes Refactor plugin. These also go into the review queue, where I can enrich them, find links, etc. It's working well. I'm glad you wrote about Obsidian to remind me about it. I think I have finally found a PKM system that will do exactly what I want.

That's a whole lot resources rolled into one. Luckily, I work for a developer and we have created our own AI system for working with several API's in conjunction with each other in a similar way to create some awesome content that enables us to create and auto-post articles to blogs over time.
