When Ed and I first started working on The 30-Day Challenge together, I really wanted people to be accountable. This is the only way things got done.
In today’s parlance we call those ‘accountability partners’, but for me that is way too woo woo.
I am a solo-worker. I stopped working with people in 2012, and I have not loved my time more since then. No stress, no people to deal with, no nothing.
But unfortunately, accountability still works.
When you have got to get up in the morning and deliver on your promises, and be judged by your peers, it really does make you… do the work.
… And this is what The Challenge was about for me.
I needed a reason to show up.
I am fortunate enough not to have to get up and work everyday. But I like working. And I need a reason to do it. I also like teaching, and I also like teaching what I do, rather than what I say.
I am just going to say it here, and it will not be popular, but most furu’s only make money by selling ‘how to’ shit.
Most Internet Marketing Guru’s would be broke if they didn’t sell courses, they couldn’t earn a penny without teaching shit. (if you doubt this then go and ask anyone of them for proof, I have been inside this charlatan world for 20 years+).
Yes, I am burning bridges tonight, but I don’t care anymore,
Pick a guru… doesn’t matter which one. If you get 5% of them that actually do what they say, rather than teach what they say, then you will be lucky.
They all teach what to do, rather than DO.
No proof, no nothing, just bullshit.
This is not what The Challenge is about.
This is just me sharing an idea for a business, and documenting it every-single day. You get to see every idea I work on, every note I make, every idea I have throughout the day, my Kanban Board, my Whiteboard. You even get access to my Drive where I save everything throughout the day.
We are 14 Days into The Challenge. But there is no catch-up time. You can work at your own pace.
No guru marketing bullshit
Dan
I am inside and love every bit of it so far…. and really curious if Dan’s idea and the work he puts into it worth the effort or not.
Apart from the financial success of the 30 day challenge, I have had so much experince just following Dan and using a part of it in my business that it have already returned for me.
e.g. have you just studied how he promote the Challenge on Substack? You should.
… and those lovely conceptual test videos inside … even if you do not use the method he follows, here and there are valuable bits anyone with an existing YT channel can use to enhance it.
