Looking forward to learning more. I was considered trying out a new business model for the very same reasons you cite in your article. I am fed up of working tirelessly producing quality content just for others to scrape and re-write AI and then outranking me.

We need a different way forward.

Absolutely, I think it a game you can only play these days if you are willing to spend every minute of your life working on it or have a very well established site with lots of DA.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts Dan. SEO has gotten a bit ridiculous with all of the low quality AI content that's being produced, and all of the other junk Google now places above organic results. Do you think it's still worth it to run a traditional blog if you just focus on driving traffic via social platforms over SEO, or would you stick entirely to producing content for a newsletter?

I look forward to hearing more about the new thing you're working on next week. Personally, I'm getting a lot out of the newsletter course, as starting a paid newsletter seems like the right path for me. So, I'm keen to read more about your strategies for that as well.

Yes, I think if you are driving traffic via social media then a blog still works very well, the same goes for newsletters. Yes it may take time to get subscribers to your newsletter but it is amazing how quickly they can grow when people start sharing or discovering your newsletter from things like the SubStack app. One of my clients newsletter grows at 60+ subscribers a day just from this alone. As always, the money is in the list even if it is a newsletter.

Next week I will be going over actually getting setup with the newsletter and how to use Renegade Subscriber 3.0 to generate growth and subscriptions.
