15 years ago I wrote the $60k A Year Secret. At its heart, it was a simple strategy to build a subscription business by tagging on a $5 newsletter to a product being sold.
A couple of years ago I updated the report and turned the $60k A Year Secret on its head and made the focus on using a list to sell a small subscription newsletter the focus.
What you are reading now is version 3 of the system, it is the result of several years trial and testing with clients and my own business to build the most optimised funnel for getting people to join your list and ultimately convert them to paid subscribers.

If you sold just two $5 subscriptions every day, at the end of the first year, you would have brought in $22,410. It might not sound a lot…
But this is where things get interesting.
Let me show you the numbers…
Every month, your income increases until you are bringing in $3,435 a month after one year.
Now, by the end-of-year two, you are earning $6,855 a month, making it a $85k+ a year income, and at the end-of-year 3, you are running a nice, low stress $190k a year business.
This is based on 3 customers unsubscribing every month.
In addition to all of this recurring revenue, you will also make affiliate sales, and potentially additional sales from your own products.
As you can see, if you stick to it, the numbers compound pretty quickly.
And that is the power of the simple $5 system.

It is important just to get started, to start writing, to put out posts, and the sooner you do that the sooner you will begin building your business.

Lead generation ultimately boils down to one thing.
I will give you something in exchange for your email address.
What makes people hand over their email address is the desire to have the thing that you offer. The more valuable the thing, the easier it is to get their email address.
You need to create high value lead magnets.
What I think is a high value lead magnet, and what most people think is a high-value lead magnet, are often quite different.
My rule of thumb is… 'would I spend $10 to get this information?'
If the answer is no, then it's not worth creating it.
What I want you to produce is something unique, created by you, which will showcase your knowledge or interest in a niche. I want it to provide an aha- moment, directly solve a problem, or answer a question that your potential customer might have.
