Almost everybody reading this post will have been through the process of picking a niche. For some who are passionate about a hobby or have an existing business this can be easy, for others this can be the most daunting part of the process, so in the next couple of articles I want to go through some simple steps to help you make that decision.

So let’s talk about what a good niche might be.

Right now AI is a hot topic. But that is a huge niche, a market in-fact, and trying to write a newsletter that covers everything AI, while certainly possible, is a huge endeavour.

There are hundreds of new announcements every week, and unless you are specifically trying to be an aggregator of news and publish a newsletter which simply links out to other websites, you are never going to build a lifestyle business around this, you are going to have to write a daily newsletter, hire writers who can share the load and also cover for you when you need time off.

You might want to do that, but that is not what this course is about.

So let’s take the idea of AI and break it down, sub-niche it a little.
