How To Get Rid Of Kartra, ClickFunnels, Mailchimp, Kajabi, And All The Other Tools You Pay For Monthly
This one service provides everything you need for free.
Never before has it been easier to start a business online. From behind a desk, or the screen of a phone in a coffee shop, you can talk to the whole world. You can reach out and join other like-minded people. You can communicate your thoughts, form groups, build relationships, share ideas, and make money.
Now, with a click, you can launch an ad, send an email, post on Instagram, and reach the world. It doesn’t matter how old, young, attractive, intelligent, or quite frankly sane you are, the Internet has opened up a whole new way for each and every one of us to make a living.
In this article, I want to share with you a 100% free service that will change the way you manage your business online.
In 2015 I was looking to simplify my business. Back then I managed multiple servers for hosting sites, developed my own payment and subscription system, managed my own affiliate system, hosted my own customer support, and much more.
To cut a long story short, it was taking me more time to manage the infrastructure than it was to do actual work.
So I switched to Kartra, which if you don't know what that is, is an all-inclusive platform that manages everything for you, and it makes building pages and taking payments a breeze.
And for the last seven years, I have happily handed over $199 a month to take the pain away.
Unfortunately, things started to fall apart.
They stopped updating and adding to their page builder, I am guessing because Mike Filsaime bought the company that developed that and integrated the tech into his GrooveFunnels platform.
They kept adding more and more features to the platform such as calendar scheduling, funnel simulations etc.
But they kind of forgot about their core platform.
For me, it came to a head late last year when I was trying to edit a long sales page I had created, and it would no longer load in the editor.
I contacted support and was told it was too long and I would need to recreate it in multiple smaller pages which obviously wouldn't work for marketing.
So I started looking for alternatives and finally stumbled on a service called Systeme.io
It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of Kartra but it has an amazing page builder which loads quickly and is very intuitive to use.
It supports the most popular payment gateways such as Stripe and PayPal
It has a membership system so you can create courses and other membership portals.
You can ditch your MailChimp or Aweber account if you wish, and use theirs which has a full automation system and has everything you need as a marketer.
It’s got evergreen webinars built in if that is your thing, and it has a pretty neat affiliate system to boot.
One thing I also like about it is you can run multiple blogs from their system too. It really is a nice little all-in-one platform.
But the best feature is... you can get started for free, and I don't mean free as in you can play around but when you want to do something useful you then have to pay... nope.
On the free tier, you can host your own domain, have up to 2,000 contacts and send unlimited emails to them.
You can have 1 blog and 3 sales funnels.
You can host 1 course with an unlimited number of students enrolled.
You get unlimited file storage and video streaming.
You can set up an affiliate program.
You can create as many accounts as you want for assistants and restrict what they can do.
You can have order bumps, 1-click upsells, and you can also run an A/B split test.
All of this is for FREE. No catch, no payment ever. And if you need more you can upgrade for $27 a month.
I have begun switching all my businesses this week, and I just love the service. I only wish this was available when I first started out online, it would have made my life so much easier.
Dan, no wonder you're migrating to that platform, it sounds amazing. I will be checking that out for sure. Thank you for this!
The platform looks amazing. Are you confident that they will be around for a while?
Kartra has been around for a long time, so I suspect they will still be here in the foreseeable future. I have stuff on Teachable but they got bought over and their free plan and the paid plan I was on changed. It's always scary for me o move. I am still on Aweber for emails because of this. Do you still think it's worth the effort to move to Systeme.io?
