Building Automations: A New Tool You Can Use To Integrate Everything.

In this example I am going to use OpenAI's Whisper to automatically transcribe audio files placed in DropBox

Today I want to introduce you to a new tool for building your own automation solutions. Think Zapier, but way more powerful, and free, and, if you are not a developer but need to build something, then it is a complete no-code solution.

I have been using it for over a year now and have built over 20 little tools that have made my workflow simpler.

I thought I would share this with you today as I am going to be using it in Niche Building Live, and I had a new use case that I think some of you might also want.

I have been working on a little project that required the transcription of a number of audio files. My previous workflow was to upload them into DeScript and then extract the text.

This worked fine, but I was correcting a lot of errors which was time-consuming, and I needed to process 120+ files. I didn’t need the extra features of DeScript for this.

So I decided to use Whisper, which is OpenAI’s transcription API, and it is 99.9% accurate.

But instead of writing the code to connect to the API and do the transcription, I thought I would use my secret weapon for building this kind of tool…
