The uses of this are endless, from the obvious such as being able to upload a complex or lengthy PDF and getting something you can listen to instead of plodding through, to creating marketing ideas from your content.
To use it you need to Sign in to NotebookLM and upload a PDF then choose the Audio Overview from the top right.
You can also interact with it like before, but I have to say it has vastly improved in the past month or so and this audio overview is so useful.
Holy shit this thing is amazing. I uploaded a transcript to ChatGPT yesterday and asked it to give me a summary, but it failed because the text was too long. Did the same with NotebookLM just now and it gave me a great Summary, along with options for an FAQ, a Study Guide, Table of Contents, Timeline and Briefing Doc. Impressive! Do you think it will be possible to ask for a style someday? As in, now you can ask ChatGPT to write in the style of Mark Twain, Steve Martin, or others. Could it be asked to create a podcast in the style of Tim Ferris or Trader Joe's podcast? Apologies if this has been already mentioned somewhere!
